Mesquite Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal veterinary clinic started in 1992.  It is located in a lovely small town in southeastern Nevada, one hour from Las Vegas and 45 minutes from St. George, Utah.

We practice high quality medical care and have worked hard to develop lasting relationships with our clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A LVT with at least 1-2 years of experience is preferred
• Nevada license will be required within 3-6 months of starting position

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Room technician: taking history and performing physical exam
• Checking in surgical patients
• Performing diagnostic tests on collected samples such as blood, urine, skin scrapings, cytology, and more.
• Digital radiographs
• Dental prophylaxis
• Catheter placement
• Injections
• V. Fluids
• Monitoring of hospitalized patients
• Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
• Inventory control
• Triaging emergency cases

Compensation/Salary:

• $20 - $24 hourly pay rate for experienced technician, newly graduated technician will also be considered.
